中国烹饪大师、中国饮食文化全球推广大使、国家中式烹调高级技师、四川旅游学院(原四川烹饪高等专科学校)欧美饮食文化研究中心饮食文化推广大使、中国烹饪协会会员、四川省烹饪协会理事、四川省美食家协会烹饪专家委员会委员暨饮食文化推广大使、中韩大型电视连续剧《林师傅在首尔》厨艺顾问及男主角林永健厨艺替身、眉山市人民政府“东坡味道”美食烹饪艺术推广大使、成都电视台“秀色可餐美女私房菜”首席评委、省市及国家级烹饪大赛评委、评判长。
受国务院新闻办、国务院侨办、文化部、四川省政府、成都市政府委托,多次带队赴法国、澳大利亚、泰国、德国、毛里求斯、丹麦、斐济、巴布亚新几内亚、尼泊尔、美国、瑞典、奥地利、哥斯达黎加、墨西哥、比利时、波兰、捷克、荷兰,举办了主题鲜明的“中国美食文化节”。受邀出访过西班牙、意大利、瑞士、韩国、卡塔尔、芬兰、突尼斯、塔希堤(法属波利尼西亚)、台湾、香港、澳门等国家和地区,进行厨艺表演和技术交流。个人曾多次在省、市及全国烹饪大赛中获得金奖,主编过十余本烹饪书籍。
Master Chef LI Kai works as a senior chef teacher specialized in Chinese cooking in Sichuan Tourism University (formerly Sichuan Higher Institute of Cuisine), being a member of Chinese Cuisine Association, a head judge in a Chengdu TV program of private dishes, and the host of a famous blog in www.sina.com, acting as counselor and a stunt double in a TV series Master Chef Lin in Seoul,the promoter of Dongpo dishes from Meishan city. He won the championship every now and then in the different competitions of Chinese cooking.
He has been invited to host Chinese Food Festival in France, Australia,Thailand, Germany, Mauritius,Denmark,Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Nepal,USA, Sweden, Austria, Costa Rica, Mexico, Belgium, and Poland, Czech, Netherlands, entrusted by Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of State Council, China Ministry of Culture, Sichuan Provincial Government,Chengdu Municipal Government;to show Chinese cooking skills and introduce Chinese food culture in Spain、Italy、Switzerland、South Korea、Qatar、Finland、Tunisia、Tahiti, Taiwan, Hongkong and Macau, etc. About ten published books on Chinese cuisine were written or edited by him. Owing to his achievements in Chinese food promotion, he gained the title “Ambassador of Chinese Food”.
